Steganography is the art of hiding data in such a way that only the sender and intended recipient are aware of it's existence. Techniques range from embedding simple text within images to obfuscating entire files within another file. To an unknowing observer, steganography will go unnoticed; Steganalysis is the art of detecting these hidden messages. In this module, we will examine how to create and decode a steganographic image that contains a simple message and how to analyze an image that has possibly been tampered with using a Python script.
In the course of an investigation, a folder is found with several images inside. You know the hacker is well versed in the art of steganography, and suspect that some of these images may contain hidden messages. Using the Python script, analyze the images and determine what, if any, messages are hidden inside them.
