NYU-Poly & the ISIS Lab have developed CyFor, a free online forensic learning environment. Our target audience is High School students from around the country, but we encourage everyone to participate and learn. The goal is to provide an online environment where students can learn, ask questions, work collaboratively, and practice digital forensics. We will do this by providing "Modules" for various forensic topics. Modules will consist of : An Abstract, demonstrative video, power point slides, references, and a subsequent challenge with solutions. CyFor also contains a Discussion Forum that is publicly available where anyone can ask forensic questions. The ISIS Lab has also made available a Virtual Laboratory Environment where students can work on evidence using virtual forensic stations.
Help us build modules in all areas of Computer\Digital\Cyber Forensics of all levels. We want to offer students real world examples and educational material that will translate into practical forensic examinations.
